Montemero was forged into existence due to the artist Wolfgang Simon who built the grounds as his studio. Artists are encouraged to exchange with the professionals from other fields who rotate through Montemero for various projects to aid in the creation of interdisciplinary discussions. We are dedicated to sustainable ecology and alternative art production to allow for dynamic solutions.
